An Osaka Night Itinerary: Dotonbori to 5AM
Minami is where Osaka stays awake, and the sheer number of options is the problem rather than the solution. This itinerary takes you from Dotonbori and the Shinsaibashi-suji arcade through three Korean bars in Higashi-Shinsaibashi, from 9PM until closing at 5AM. All three are minutes apart on foot and none require a reservation.

The route: 9PM to 5AM
All three bars open at 21:00 and close at 05:00. The itinerary below assumes you join after dinner and work your way through the night.
- Dinner around DotonboriThe area from Ebisubashi — the bridge with the Glico sign — up through the Shinsaibashi-suji arcade stays busy late. Eat here first.
- Start at SARANGFully non-smoking, no karaoke, built around conversation. A calm first stop to set the pace for the night, and easy to join alone thanks to the counter seating.
- Move to HEAVENA few minutes on foot. Free unlimited karaoke and darts in a large room with K-POP playing. VIP rooms are there if the group has grown.
- Then MOONJapan's first Korean bar and shisha lounge. Settle into the lounge seating with shisha and let the small hours pass slowly. Karaoke available.
- Until the first trainAll three run until 5AM, so a missed last train stops being a problem.

Rearranging the night
Treat the order above as a starting point. Because the three bars are minutes apart, moving between them costs almost nothing.
- For a loud night — open at HEAVEN and wind down in MOON's lounge later.
- For a quiet night — plenty of guests spend the entire night at SARANG. There is no obligation to move at all.
- For a single stop between sightseeing — walk over from Dotonbori, have one drink, and head back. No reservation means loose plans are fine.
- For a missed last train — most bars in Osaka close between midnight and 1AM. These three do not.

Whichever you choose, the common thread is the mix: Japanese guests who love Korea and Korean guests who love Japan, in the same room. All staff are Korean and fluent in Japanese, with Korean and English spoken as well.
